Parks Project Manager

• Fixed Term - Full time 38 hours, plus monthly RDO
• Salary: Band 7 - $102,953 - $114,924 + 11.5 % superannuation
• Located at our Operations Centre -  1 Sugargum Drive, Altona

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Parks Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of parks and open space projects.

This role requires a proactive, capable individual who thrives in a collaborative environment, integrates quickly into teams, and works hard to support shared goals. You will work in the Parks department, alongside the asset owners and maintenance team, and be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple projects.

What you’ll be working on:

• Open space asset renewal projects
• Fencing Renewal works
• Street Tree Planting
• Biodiversity projects
• Contract specification development, review, tendering and contract management.

What you need to succeed

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (project management, horticulture, natural resource management.)
• Demonstrated project and contract management experience in open space or infrastructure delivery
• High level communication skills, report writing and contract development.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
• Team-focused, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
