As a Tourism Officer, you'll support a range of tourism projects and initiatives that enhance the visitor experience, support our local tourism industry and promote Bunbury as a destination. You'll work alongside a passionate team and build strong relationships with tourism operators, industry and stakeholders across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the tourism sector to inform evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Assist with the identification, planning, and delivery of new tourism products and experiences that leverage the City's natural assets and cultural heritage.

  • Provide support in the planning, coordination, and delivery of tourism initiatives and projects identified within the City's Tourism Plan.

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of targeted destination tourism marketing and promotional campaigns to promote Bunbury as a tourist destination.

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the City of Bunbury Employee's 2024 Enterprise Agreement at Level 5 salary of $96,705.44 per annum.
