What you'll be doing

• Conducting daily aerodrome serviceability inspections before scheduled aircraft movements.
• Monitoring and reporting aerodrome conditions and issuing NOTAMs when required.
• Inspecting and maintaining airport lighting and emergency facilities.
• Maintaining airside and landside areas, including mowing, gardens, fencing and aerodrome markers.
• Maintaining the passenger terminal, toilets and surrounding facilities to a high standard.
• Undertaking airside security checks and ensuring vehicles comply with aerodrome requirements.
• Carrying out aircraft refuelling duties, including fuel testing, stock checks and fuel installation inspections.
• Performing routine servicing and maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Providing ARO coverage across the roster, including weekends and public holidays.

What we're looking for

You will be a friendly, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for excellent service. 

• A current Aircraft Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate (AROC).
• A current Aerodrome Reporting Officer Certificate.
• A current Class C Manual Driver Licence.
• Strong knowledge and skills in aerodrome operations and maintenance.
• Experience in fuel dispensing.
• A strong commitment to safety, customer service and professional standards.
• Possess or be eligible to obtain a Queensland Firearms Licence.
