at Blacktown City Council
ContractualLead with purpose. Shape progress for a growing city.
Leadership at Blacktown City means more than managing teams. It is about shaping the future of one of Australia's fastest growing and most diverse communities. You influence how services are planned, measured and improved across Council, helping decision makers deliver better outcomes for the community.
As a Business Planning and Service Analyst, you coordinate and support the business planning process across Council's business units. You work closely with managers to develop service plans, identify priorities, define service commitments and determine the resources needed to deliver them. You prepare business plans and performance reports, analyse and visualise data, and maintain the systems that support service planning and reporting.
You help managers turn business data into meaningful information that supports decision making. You test and improve planning and reporting systems, monitor data integrity, develop analysis tools, and provide advice that supports continuous improvement. You also contribute to operational planning, corporate reporting and projects that strengthen how Council plans, measures and delivers services.
This role suits an experienced professional who enjoys working with data, solving problems and building strong relationships across a large organisation. You bring experience in planning, reporting and performance measurement, along with the ability to translate complex information into practical insights that support service delivery and long term organisational improvement.
At Blacktown City Council, good people make great teams, and great teams build great cities. Here, you will find the stability and support to keep growing, along with:
