Ranger - Part Time

RANGER PART TIME

We are currently seeking a Ranger to assist with the compliance and enforcement of regulatory activities in accordance with relevant legislation, Council policies and community expectations. Minimum 15 hours per week, plus weekends on a rotating roster. What we are looking for in you

  • Certificate IV in Local Government Regulatory Services or equivalent qualification orsignificant progress towards such a qualification or Local Government experience ina regulatory or law enforcement role.
  • Class ‘C’ Driver Licence
  • Current Police Check
  • WHS Construction Induction (White) Card
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake animal control duties including excellent animalhandling skills and experience in the operation of an animal pound.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including the demonstratedability to negotiate and resolve conflict, and work effectively in a team environmentunder minimum supervision.
  • Sound understanding of and commitment to EEO and WHS principles and practices.
