About the Organisation
The City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. These range from childcare and immunisations, to libraries, management of parks and open space, rubbish collection, road maintenance and more. City of Port Phillip has zero tolerance for child abuse and is a committed child safe organisation.
About the role
The Venue Management team are seeking to expand the pool of Casual Venue and Events Duty officers. This is an opportunity to apply your excellent customer service skills to assist with the efficient operation of Council's 13 Community Centres and Town Halls. The role includes servicing meetings and events in halls and meeting room across the municipality for internal and external stakeholders.
Successful applicants must be available to work weekdays, after hours, weekends and public holidays. Shifts are rostered monthly with no set guaranteed hours.
