Group Exercise Supervisor

Part-time (20 hours per week)

About the role

Working as part of the team at Aqua Jetty, you will be responsible for leading a team of Group Exercise Instructors to provide quality health and fitness programs to patrons.

You are a passionate, experienced leader with excellent communication skills and knowledge of employee supervision and the health and fitness industry. You are passionate about providing excellent customer service and inspire this in the people you lead.

In addition to your experience within the health and fitness industry, you possess the following qualifications:

• Certificate III in Fitness
• Fitness Australia Accreditation
• Current Provide First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Ability to provide a valid Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance

To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:

1. Knowledge of current trends and developments in the delivery of a contemporary group exercise program
2. Ability to resolve issues with participants, group exercise instructors and members of the public
3. Experience in the supervision, development and motivation of staff
4. Some experience in the promotion, planning, coordination and programming of special events and activities
5. Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

What we offer

The hourly rate for this position is as follows:

$42.40 per hour, plus superannuation
