As a Child Care Aide, you help create a safe, caring and engaging environment where children can learn, develop and thrive. You work closely with children throughout the day, supporting their wellbeing, encouraging learning through play, and building positive relationships with families and colleagues. Your work helps children feel safe, supported and included during some of their most important early years.

Working as part of the Kids' Early Learning Kings Park childcare team, you supervise children, prepare and facilitate age appropriate activities, monitor health and wellbeing, and maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment. You observe and record children's development, keep health and safety records up to date, communicate with parents about their child's progress, and respond to the changing needs of children throughout the day. You also follow childcare regulations, policies and procedures to ensure a high standard of care.

Every interaction matters. The care, guidance and support you provide help children build confidence, develop social connections and enjoy learning. Your work also gives families confidence that their children are safe, supported and well cared for.
