The role
We are seeking two permanent part-time Customer Experience Officers to join our Leisure & Aquatics team, with each position working 19 hours per week.
In this role, you will provide a high-quality experience to all centre users in line with Council’s organisational values and the Canterbury Bankstown Leisure & Aquatic Services Customer Service Charter.
You will support reception services, customer enquiries, transactions, bookings, kiosk operations and general customer service across the centre.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Delivering customer service in line with the Leisure & Aquatics Customer Service Charter.
Processing cash transactions and reconciliations accurately.
Responding to customer enquiries and feedback professionally.
Maintaining clean, organised and safe reception, kiosk and customer service areas.
Supporting kiosk operations, including food handling, serving customers, stock presentation and stocktakes.
Promoting and selling products and services, including converting membership enquiries into sales.
Managing centre bookings and supporting opening and closing duties.
Participating in relevant training and development.

You will have:
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
A current Working with Children Check.
Food Handling Certificate
Enthusiasm, initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work across facilities and operating hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality service in a public-facing customer service environment.
Excellent written, telephone and face-to-face communication skills.
Cash-handling, Point of Sale, computer literacy and administration experience.
Experience selling, managing and completing stocktakes of kiosk items and retail products.
The full-time equivalent salary for this opportunity is $64,507 per annum, plus 12% superannuation. The salary for each position will be paid pro rata based on 19 hours per week.
