Customer Service Officer - Visitor Centre

About the Job

There is an exciting opportunity at the Shire of Esperance Visitor Centre for a Customer Service Officer. Provide comprehensive information and high-level customer service to visitors and residents, focusing on tourism related products and services in the Esperance region.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Respond to customer enquiries at the front desk, by email and phone in a helpful, friendly and courteous manner.
• Provide comprehensive information to Visitor Centre customers on tourism products and services available in the Esperance region.
• Promote the Esperance Promise and encourage Responsible Tourism.

This is a permanent part time position, working a minimum 23 hours per week.  

Wednesday to Saturday 9.00am to 2.00pm

Sunday 9.00am to 3.00pm

About you 

In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:

• Highly developed customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Well-developed team work, time management and organisational skills.
• Well-developed verbal and written communications skills.

Benefits

Hourly Rate: $33.38

Permanent staff are entitled to:

• 5 weeks annual leave per year 
• The option of one Rostered Day Off (RDO) every 4 weeks in exchange for working 40 hours per week.
