Digital Channels Advisor

Mō te tūranga | About the role

You will be responsible for:

• Providing trusted, timely and accurate digital guidance, advice and practical support to internal and external stakeholders

• Creating, editing and publishing content to digital channels owned or managed by Waikato Regional Council

• Working with subject matter experts to ensure all content is accurate and up to date.

• Helping monitor, measure and analyse the performance of digital channels owned or managed by Waikato Regional Council, using insights to recommend improvements.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience using website content management systems and HTML

• An understanding of user experience, web accessibility and how to structure online content for different audiences and digital platforms

• A customer-centric approach and strong collaboration skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks while delivering accurate, creative work at pace.

• Diploma in Web Development and Design or a similar qualification.
