Full TimeCroydon Shire Council is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Infrastructure to lead Council’s Works Services function and oversee the delivery of critical infrastructure and essential services across the Shire. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this senior leadership role is responsible for the planning, delivery and performance of a broad portfolio including Council and State-controlled roads, water and wastewater services, airport operations, parks and gardens, capital works programs and disaster recovery projects.
The Director of Infrastructure provides leadership to a multidisciplinary workforce, manages contractors and budgets, and ensures projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with Council objectives, legislative requirements and community expectations. This role plays a key part in shaping the future of infrastructure services in a remote regional environment.
The position suits a collaborative, solutions-focused leader with strong technical expertise, proven project delivery experience and the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
