About the role

The City of Salisbury is seeking a motivated and organised Enhancement Delivery Coordinator to join the Business Transformation team within Corporate Development on a fixed-term two-year contract.

Reporting to the Divisional Head Business Transformation, you will coordinate the delivery of system enhancement initiatives across the organisation. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and vendors, you will help ensure enhancement activities are planned, prioritised, monitored and delivered effectively.

This role is ideal for someone with experience coordinating projects, system enhancements, business improvement initiatives or technology-based work programs. While formal project management experience is advantageous, we are open to candidates with strong coordination, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills who are keen to further develop their project delivery capability.

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Coordinate enhancement activities across systems and business areas.
  • Monitor delivery progress, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Support stakeholders to plan, track and deliver enhancement initiatives.
  • Maintain delivery documentation, reporting and governance records.
  • Coordinate testing activities and support quality assurance processes.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders, technology teams and vendors.
  • Support financial administration, procurement activities and budget tracking.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery frameworks, processes and tools.
  • Maintain accurate project and system records.
  • Prepare reports and updates for operational and management oversight.
  • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You are a highly organised and adaptable professional who enjoys coordinating moving pieces and working with a variety of stakeholders. You are confident building relationships, asking questions, seeking support when needed and keeping activities on track to achieve outcomes.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, bring a practical approach to problem-solving and can balance competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

You will also have

  • Experience coordinating projects, system enhancements, business improvement initiatives or similar programs of work.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience using project, workflow or task management systems, with Jira experience highly regarded.
  • Initiative, sound judgement and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Experience preparing reports, tracking progress and maintaining documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • National Police Clearance
  • Experience in local government or the public sector (desirable).
  • Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Business, Information Technology or a related field (desirable).
  • Agile training or certification (desirable).
