We are seeking Expression of Interests for some upcoming exciting opportunities within our Vegetation Management team for Supervisor, Team leader, Trade assistant, labourers

About the opportunity

Expression of Interest for multiple positions available for Vegetation Field Team Leader & Team Members with opportunities for Full-time, Part-time & Casual positions.

These roles are always in the field therefore you must be happy to work in a variety of weather conditions.

We will provide you with ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your career goals and unleash your true passion for Land Management.

About you

To be successful in a Team Lead role, the following are required:

• Cert III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management or equivalent or relevant tertiary degree
• Experience in identification of species both native and weeds
• Chemical application accreditation/ ACDC Licence and spraying experience
• Experience leading a team
• 4WD and towing experience

To be successful a Team Member role, the following are desirable, but not essential:

• Experience in vegetation, land or weed management
• Cert I or II in Conservation and Ecosystem Management
• Experience/ interest in identification of species both native and weeds
• Relevant tickets or experience with the operation and maintenance of equipment such chainsaws and brush-cutters

The following are a requirement of both Team Leader and Team Member roles:

• General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Open/unrestricted Drivers Licence
• Experience with hand tools
• Map-reading skills
• Own reliable vehicle or ability to get to sites
• Ability to work unsupervised
• A good attitude to workplace health and safety
• Be physically fit and able to undertake labour intensive work
