About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for upcoming roles commencing early next year in Mudgee, NSW.

We are seeking:

1 x Vegetation Field Team Leader

2 x Vegetation Field Team Members

The Vegetation Field Team Member roles are offered on a 12-month minimum contract, with the potential to transition to a permanent position based on performance and business requirements.

These roles involve hands-on fieldwork across multiple sites and require a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ongoing mentoring and support will be provided to assist you in developing your career in land and vegetation management.

Vegetation Field Team Leader – About You

  • To be successful in the Team Leader role, you will have:
  • Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management (or equivalent)
  • Experience in vegetation, land, or weed management
  • Ability to identify native and weed species
  • Chemical application accreditation (ACDC) and spraying experience
  • Experience leading or supervising field-based teams
  • 4WD driving and towing experience (desirable)

Vegetation Field Team Member – About You

  • To be successful in the Team Member role, the following are desirable but not essential:
  • Experience in vegetation, land, or weed management
  • Certificate I or II in Conservation and Ecosystem Management
  • Interest in identifying native and weed species
  • Experience or tickets for operating equipment such as chainsaws and brush-cutters

Requirements for All Roles

  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Open/unrestricted driver’s licence
  • Experience using hand tools
  • Basic map-reading skills
  • Own reliable vehicle or ability to travel to sites
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Physically fit and able to undertake labour-intensive work
