We’re have an opportunity for a practical and reliable person to join our Palmy Venues + Events team as an Events Venue Officer based at Arena.
If you enjoy physical work, working independently, and being part of the action behind the scenes at some of the city’s most exciting events, this role offers variety, purpose, and plenty of interaction.
You’ll help deliver seamless venue experiences across iconic spaces like Arena, Palmy Conference + Function Centre, and Caccia Birch, while also supporting citywide events that bring our community together.
As an Events Venue Officer, you’ll be responsible for setting up and supporting events across Council-managed venues and public spaces. This includes preparing equipment, moving furniture, liaising with clients, and ensuring the space is presented to a high standard.
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week and role is part of a rotating roster which includes evening, weekend, and public holiday work, depending on event requirements. Flexibility for occasional work outside standard hours is essential.
