Senior Resource Consents Planner

We’re looking for a self-motivated, team player to join our busy resource consents team based in beautiful Te Aroha.

About the role

In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll work across a diverse range of land use and subdivision consents, as well as provide advice to customers on a wide range of resource management issues. With our district home to many large rural based industries, you’ll enjoy the opportunity to tackle interesting and complex projects that make a real impact in our community.

What you’ll bring to the role

-       A relevant tertiary qualification

-       At least five years’ experience in resource consents planning

-       Strong knowledge of the Resource Management Act and related legislation

-       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-       A proactive approach and strong customer focus
