Te Wero – The Challenge

As a People & Capability Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our People & Capability team to deliver high-quality services across the organisation. This is a dynamic position where you will:

  • Coordinate and manage employee transitions from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring accurate data capture and compliance with employment legislation.

  • Own and maintain people-data in CiAnywhere, ensuring integrity and accuracy.

  • Prepare and analyse P&C reports and dashboards (turnover, engagement, recruitment metrics) to identify trends and support evidence-based decision-making.

  • Explore and implement technology improvements, including AI tools, to enhance efficiency in P&C processes.

  • Facilitate new employee inductions, ensuring a positive and professional introduction to FNDC.

  • Provide generalist support across HR systems, training coordination and administration in a high-trust environment.

  • Act as Promapp super-user and support process documentation and system training guides.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and foster a positive health, safety, and wellbeing culture.

  • This position reports to the Manager – People and Capability, and is fixed term until 26 November 2026.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys working with data and systems, and is passionate about improving processes to deliver exceptional outcomes for our people.

  • We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Minimum 2 years in HR or administration, ideally with a tertiary qualification (NZQA Level 4 or above).

  • Solid understanding of employment relations, recruitment best practice, HR systems, and health & safety.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Experience using HR systems (preferably CiAnywhere). Strong reporting and data management capability.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively.

  • Well-organised, able to prioritise and meet deadlines.

  • Customer-focused with enthusiasm for delivering excellence.

  • Progressive mindset with a focus on continual improvement.

  • Ability to relate to a wide range of people and maintain confidentiality.
