He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Auckland Council's Policy department has a permanent, part-time (16 hours per week) opportunity for a Senior Project Coordinator - Engagement to join the Natural Environment Strategy (NES) team.
Our NES team has an extensive work programme which includes undertaking engagement on several strategic initiatives that seek to achieve better environmental outcomes. Some of the engagement work requires sustained project coordination support.
In this role you will support other key strategy kaimahi with Māori engagement, or engagement on matters affecting Māori values. You will also have the opportunity to develop or extend your project management support skills, including how best to undertake engagement support for the variety of interests involved, and the work programme ahead.

This role requires experience in the effective delivery of support services for strategic programmes and Māori engagement. You are likely to have experience in similar roles within large, complex or political organisations.

This role has a remuneration range of $85,000 to $98,000 full time equivalent per annum.
Our employer Kiwisaver contribution is additional to base salary offered.
