Splash Planet - Weekend Work

Don’t worry, we aren’t closing just yet! We are simply preparing for our weekend only operations at Splash Planet. A lot of our amazing seasonal staff are heading back to university and/or high school, so we are now seeking applications for our shortened operating hours through to the end of Feb 2026.

As the largest water theme park in NZ, we offer a diverse range of roles covering our weekends only season:

• Lifeguards
• Slide Guards
• Ride Operators
• Splash Ambassador
• Retail Services
• Kaitiaki

Ōu wheako –about you:

• You will be able to work Saturdays and Sundays from 7 February through until 1 March. We're planning to continue with limited attractions for year round, so there is also the possibility of year-round casual work for our star performers.
• Ideally, you will be able to attend induction during the week from 2 to 5 February - please note that this is not essential. (If you can start earlier, please let us know).
• You will be a highly motivated person who takes pride in helping our park guests have an exceptional experience at Splash Planet  .
• You will have fantastic customer service skills, as well as an enthusiastic personality.
• Working at Splash Planet is about more than just money – it’s also bringing people together of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds to enjoy fun and entertainment in a unique working environment. This could also give you a foot in the door to ongoing seasonal employment each summer and also year-round positions.
