We’re looking for a Strategic Workforce Planner who’s excited about shaping a future-ready workforce that supports our community every day. In this role, you’ll help implement and strengthen Council’s workforce planning framework while anticipating future skills and capability needs through forecasting, scenario modelling and insightful analysis. You’ll turn workforce data into meaningful insights, develop evidence-based plans and work closely with leaders across diverse services. You’ll also bring people together through practical planning sessions and meaningful conversations that build shared understanding. With a focus on future trends, data accuracy and continuous improvement, you’ll help ensure Council is equipped to meet community needs now and into the future.

We’re seeking someone with relevant qualifications and experience in workforce planning or HR analytics, who enjoys uncovering insights and thinking ahead. You’ll bring strong analytical skills, clear communication, collaboration and the ability to coach others. If you’re adaptable, detail-focused and passionate about shaping a sustainable local government workforce, we’d love to hear from you.

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $103,977 gross per annum
 + 12% superannuation 
 + performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary 
 + annual award increase
