The opportunity

As the Supervisor Public Amenity and Cleansing, you will play a key role in supporting and developing the City Amenity team to ensure high quality public amenity and cleansing services are delivered across the municipality. Working within the City Operations team based in Altona, you will help drive service standards, coordinate daily operations, and contribute to a cleaner, safer and more welcoming community.

What you’ll do

• Lead and support the City Amenity and Cleansing team to achieve service delivery standards.
• Coordinate day-to-day cleansing and public amenity operations.
• Monitor operational performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, operational and Council requirements. 
• Foster a positive, productive and customer-focused team culture.

What you need to succeed

• Experience supervising operational or field-based service teams.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to coordinate resources and maintain service standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Pre-Employment Requirements 

Progressed candidates will be required to complete a National Police Record Check, a Pre-Employment Medical Check & a Working With Children Check (WWCC). Candidates must also hold a valid Victorian Driver's License and current Truck License, Light Rigid (LR)

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa with full unrestricted working rights. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process.
