As a key member of our wider Sustainable Monash team, your work will help to keep Monash clean and tidy, maximise our resource recovery efforts and support the community and Council to adapt to a changing climate through sustainable practices and education.
About the position:
Our Waste Customer Experience Officers collect and receipt payments for waste disposal at our Recycling and Waste Centre, measure and assess waste volumes and types, encourage the recovery and recycling of material and provide service excellence to the Monash community and Council team members. Additionally, the role may focus on administrative tasks and project-based field work, such as bin audits.
Skills and experience:
• A certificate level qualification and/or previous experience in direct customer service
• Previous experience in cashiering and processing of payments
• Previous experience working in an administrative environment with strong customer relations and a teamwork focus
