Work Health and Safety (WHS) Assurance Officer

Full Time Permanent Position

Band 7 - Salary Range $109,825 to $122,758 per annum + 12% Super + ADO 

Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

• Experience in WHS legislation and compliance, with a proven ability to design and implement audits, inspections, and monitoring systems.
• Skilled at establishing contractor and volunteer safety frameworks, setting standards, and embedding continuous improvement.
• Ability to use data and reporting to build practical safety systems, identify risks, and guide evidence-based decisions.
• Highly organised and proactive, able to prioritise initiatives, develop systems, and support teams in achieving compliance.
• Outstanding communicator, able to engage, influence, and inspire staff and stakeholders to embrace safe practices and foster a proactive safety culture.
• Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
