Pay rate: $180 Per hour
Conditions: Needs to be ICU Reg yr 1 and above. Prefer HNE Experience. Must have ERIC Experience Department Overview and Staffing Levels The CMN ICU is a Level 5 unit with 6 beds, managing approximately 600 admissions annually. The ICU also provides an outreach service to the hospital, responding to over 1,200 rapid response calls each year. Staffing Levels: • Night shift (8 PM to 8 AM): Two Junior Medical Officers (JMOs) are on duty, supported by on-call intensivists. Responsibilities & Daily Tasks • Carry the 50540 Code Pager from 8 PM to 8 AM. • Assess and provide acute management for patients referred from the Emergency Department or hospital wards. • Manage patients within the ICU unit. • Respond to Rapid Response calls for CMN patients, staff, and visitors; and for inpatients requiring mental health support. • Prepare discharge paperwork for patients who are ready for discharge. • Support the Emergency Department in managing patients requiring ICU/HDU care, including coordinating retrieval arrangements.
Credentials: NSW Hospital paperwork (LHD specific); NSW Health online training modules; immunisations/vaccinations; Primary Degree; Fellowship & CPD Certificate (if applicable); References; CRC; NSW WWCC; Indemnity; Medicare provider number; ID check; NSW declarations (e.g. Hep B; TB; Secondary Employment; Code of Conduct); Current AHPRA Registration
