The role
Bring your printing expertise, attention to detail and customer-focused approach to a role where your work makes a real difference every day.
As our Printing Officer, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, timely and efficient printing services across Council. You’ll manage printing projects from start to finish, ensuring every job meets our quality standards, deadlines and the needs of our customers.
You’ll work with a diverse range of teams and projects, providing professional advice, reliable service and outstanding print outcomes. From everyday printing requirements to high-profile Council communications, your skills will help bring important information to life.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Ensure the timely and accurate printing of documents including Council Business Papers, brochures, reports, leaflets and other documents for in-house and public/community distribution.
Practice and implement correct printing techniques, including document layout, binding, collating, etc.
Provide printing advice and service to internal staff.
Other duties as directed by Team Leader Printing Services, Coordinator Governance and Manager Governance and Internal Audit.

You will have
Class C Drivers Licence
Background in a corporate in-house Print Shop environment
Experience in colour and black and white photocopies
Familiar with Adobe Pro, Microsoft Word and Fiery Command Workstation
Experience in the use of high-speed copying and computer generated printing operations
Experience in bindery, collating, folding and guillotine operations
Large format/signage
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $69,034 (Grade C, Step 3) + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
