About the Job
An exciting opportunity is now available within the Asset Operations Rural Maintenance team for a Plant Operator. This position involves the construction and maintenance of Shire roads and infrastructure.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Operate other plant (bobcat, backhoe, loader, truck, roller etc) as required.
Perform work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment.
Monitor, maintain and construct council infrastructure and roads as required.
This is a Permanent full-time position, working 85 hours per fortnight.
About you
In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:
‘MR’ class license.
Ability to perform routine mechanical maintenance on vehicular plant.
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Benefits
Salary: $87,075.26 (including overtime).
Permanent staff are entitled to:
5 weeks annual leave per year
Rostered Day Off (RDO) every second Friday
Minimum of 12% superannuation employer contribution
Superannuation co-contribution offered to a maximum of 5%
