The City of Hobart is excited to offer volunteers the opportunity of International Student Ambassador 2026.
The City of Hobart International Student Ambassador Program promotes the integration and connection between international students and the local community. Ambassadors will gain knowledge of Hobart, engage with local culture, help break down social barriers, promote inclusion, and volunteer at key City of Hobart events.

Are you passionate about helping international students feel at home? Do you want to make a positive impact on your campus community? We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to join our team as International Student Ambassadors for 2026!
Below are the essentials for this role:
If you do not currently meet the requirements listed below, we are flexible and allow you to provide them before you commence the role
International Student Ambassadors are expected to attend a three-hour induction and orientation session at the start of their term and commit to a minimum of 70 per cent of scheduled meetings, activities, and events.

You will need to review the International Student Ambassadors Volunteer Duty Statement and have a better understanding of the role.
You will be required to address a number of selection criteria in 200 words or less each.
