Casual Position – no guarantee of hours
Council is seeking suitably qualified applicants to join our pool of Casual Weighbridge Operators.
Reporting directly to the Leading Hand Waste Services, you will be responsible for customer service, advice on waste disposal and separation to Broken Hill Waste Management Facility users. This position ensures accurate record keeping of waste data as per reporting requirements under the Environmental Protection Authority Licence. The position has direct interaction with the public and provides direction to users and the highest level of customer service.
You will be confident in welcoming and greeting customers and comfortable working independently. Your sound communication skills will be required to provide directions to users and offer advice on waste disposal and separation. Good computer skills and the willingness to learn policy and procedures are required.
