The Records Officer is responsible for ensuring Council's information and records are accurately managed, securely stored, easily accessible, and compliant with legislative requirements. The role supports efficient business operations by maintaining both electronic and hardcopy records and providing records management services across the organisation

You are a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for accuracy, customer service, and information management. You have strong administrative and communication skills, can manage competing priorities, and maintain confidentiality with discretion and professionalism. You are confident using technology and records management systems, enjoy solving problems, and work collaboratively with others to deliver efficient and compliant business outcomes.

Remuneration
The appointment will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2026 and Cabonne Council’s policies and conditions of employment.
This position is graded 4-5 in Council's salary system. The gross weekly wage range is $1174.30 - $1332.80 dependant on skills and experience.
