Join Penrith City Council as a Senior Engineer Major Developments and play a key role in shaping the future of our city. This permanent full-time position contributes to the successful delivery of Council’s strategic plans, development controls, and policies. You’ll be responsible for certifying and overseeing the delivery of civil infrastructure associated with subdivision works in urban and industrial release areas, as well as other major developments across the Penrith Local Government Area. The role also involves providing expert engineering advice on development applications, strategic planning initiatives, rezoning proposals, and voluntary planning agreements - ensuring all development and infrastructure works align with legislative requirements and Council’s strategic and operational goals.
A motor vehicle arrangement is available with this position; however, it is not a condition of employment.
Commencing Salary: A competitive salary will be negotiated with the preferred applicant with a package up to $155,965.00 including 3.5% Civil Liabilities Allowance and 12% Superannuation.
