About the role
The City of Salisbury is seeking an experienced Turf and Irrigation Team Member (Technical Support) to join our City Infrastructure team.
Reporting to the Coordinator Turf and Irrigation, you will provide advanced technical support across Council's irrigation systems, turf infrastructure and control systems. You'll be responsible for programming, monitoring and fault-finding of irrigation control systems, assisting in the management of reserves and sporting facilities, and supporting the delivery of efficient irrigation operations across Council assets.
This role is ideal for someone with strong irrigation technical knowledge who enjoys problem-solving, analysing system performance and sharing their expertise with others. You'll also support apprentices and junior team members while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the team.

About you
You are a technically capable irrigation professional who enjoys solving problems and takes pride in maintaining high-performing irrigation systems.
You bring strong fault-finding skills, can confidently interpret irrigation data and are comfortable balancing hands-on field work with planning, monitoring and documentation. You work well independently, communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and enjoy supporting the development of others.
