Operations Administration Officer 

• Fixed term – part time
• Salary range $76,091 to $89,651 (pro rata per annum) depending on experience

About the role:
We currently have an opportunity for a fixed term Operations Administration Officer.  Working 60.8 hours per fortnight until 4 October 2027, this role reports to the Senior Operations Administration Officer.

This role will provide effective and efficient administration and organisational support to the Civil Works, and Parks and Gardens activity units.  This role will also provide customer service to both internal and external customers.

What you’ll bring to the role:
The ideal candidate will align with the City’s Values and be able to demonstrate the below competencies:

• Well-developed administration skills including word processing and data entry.
• Intermediate experience in the use of Microsoft Office as a minimum, in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships in a diverse working environment.
• Well-developed time management and organisational skills, including the proven ability to prioritise and react to changes to priorities.
• Ability to use initiative, problem solve and research information.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and also autonomously.
• The resilience to work in a fast paced and often reactive environment.

Pre-employment requirements:

• Current C Class Driver’s Licence.
• National Police Clearance (less than six months old).
• Proof of right to work in Australia.
• Pre-employment medical (arranged and paid for by the City).
