The Details:

• Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
• $87,301 pa + 12% super (level 3)
• 72.5 hour fortnight
• Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
• Location: Strathpine

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Senior Business Support Officer, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As the Senior Business Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the broader Community Services, Sport and Recreation department. Working closely with leaders across the branch, you will provide high level administrative, financial and business support, helping to drive operational excellence, effective planning and continuous improvement across a diverse portfolio of community recreation facilities.

Additionally, you will:

• Provide expert administrative and business support, including the preparation of reports, presentations, meeting documentation and correspondence.
• Monitor budgets, undertake financial administration and coordinate procurement and contract management processes.
• Research and respond to stakeholder enquiries, providing accurate information and recommendations in line with Council policies and procedures.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and identify opportunities to improve business processes, systems and service delivery outcomes.

About you

You are an organised and proactive business support professional with experience delivering administrative, financial and operational support in a fast paced environment. With excellent written communication skills, you can produce high quality business documentation, manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

You are a collaborative team member who builds positive relationships across all levels of an organisation and enjoys identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working. Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and adaptable to new systems, you bring a continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
