Flinders Shire Council is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our Corporate and Financial Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering essential financial services that support Council operations, infrastructure, and community outcomes across the Shire.
As the Finance Officer, you’ll be responsible for managing key revenue functions including rates, water levies, debt recovery, accounts receivable and customer enquiries, while also supporting budgeting, financial reporting, long-term financial planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Employment status: Permanent Fulltime
Award: The position is classified between a Level 4-5 under the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream A) Award – State 2017
Salary range: $86,896.54 - $95,874.28 gross per annum dependant on skills and experience
